Since I've been travelling, I've noticed one consistency in every place I visit: tourism. When people travel and return, memory card in hand, we see their sticker book collection of postcard images; the Eiffel Tower, Leaning Tower of Pisa, Taj Mahal, but what we don't see are the tourists with their iPads, selfie sticks and GoPros.

On my last trip especially, I found it equally amusing and frustrating, that all of these people push and shove, causing chaos, to try and create the illusion of an idyllic, tourist-less destination, sprinkled with well-known landmarks. Which is why I've started a new photography project: 'Tourism-ism'. These tourists are my favourite part of travelling, so I’ve begun a new blog, separate to my digital art, recording tourism from a tourist’s perspective.

This is an ongoing project. Work will be updated frequently at tourism-ism.tumblr.com and instagram.com/tourismism
